Тема. Визначні місця Лондона
Мета:
– формувати лексичні навички з нової теми;
– вдосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання та усного мовлення;
– навчити учнів уживати нові лексичні одиниці з використанням лексичних зорових опор;
– розвивати логічне мислення, спостережливість та аудитивну пам’ять.

B) Впр. 1, c. 140 – discuss the following questions.
What do you know about history of London?
What are the main parts of London?
What places of interest are most popular in London?
C) Впр. 2, c. 140 – read the information about places to see in London taken from a tour guide.

D) A Day in London (some useful hints)
If you are going to London for the day by train, try to buy a rail ticket that also includes travel on London buses and the underground. You will save a fortune of fares!
If you don’t need your passport
Change money before you go to London. It will save time.
Plan your visit to London before you arrive! If you don’t, you will waste hours and risk being crushed in the crowds on the underground!
