Тема. Екстремальні види спорту

Мета:

– формувати лексичні навички з нової теми;

– вдосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання та усного мовлення;

– навчити учнів уживати нові лексичні одиниці з використанням лексичних зорових опор;

– розвивати логічне мислення, спостережливість та аудитивну пам’ять.

What was the exciting moment in his life?

What did he say about motor racing and water rafting?

Is there really the danger that interests him?

Does the man usually take unnecessary risks? Why?

D) Tao exercise 5. “Circling the sky”

From the balanced position group forward from the waist, letting your head and arms hang loose. Your hands should be the same distance apart as your feet. Imagine you are holding a bamboo pole in your hands. This means your hands will always be the same distance apart. Slowly on the in-breath raise your arms to the right while rotating your trunk from the hips. When you reach the top you will be leaning back – and your lungs will be full. As you go down to the left, release the air. Then reverse the process raising your arms to the left and lowering to the right. Repeat the movement five times on each side.

E) Bпp. 3, c. 86 – listen to an interview (tapescript 32, p. 192), in your copybook fill in the missing information.

Discuss the following questions.

Do people often get injuries in sports?

In that kinds of sports do athletes get injuries more often?

What can people do not to get injuries doing sports?

F) Bпp. 4, c. 86 – match the injuries people can get in different situations with the bits of advise how to be safe.
